Personal Instruments: Voice, Electric and Acoustic Guitars, Bass and Basic Keyboards

Productions Credits: Jim has coordinated production of a broad spectrum of CD projects and band demos. Local TV and radio advertisements, and excerpts for 'books on tape/CD', are other aspect of his accomplishments. Jimís production, engineering and performance skills have been in high demand by clients. By request, he has contributed a wide range of musical styles including metal, R&B, pop, blues, bluegrass, and country.

History: Jim began singing and playing guitar at age 8. Karisma, Plymouth Rock, Bloomfield, Early Winter, Time Machine, Riverside Blues Band, Overland Express, Headin Back, and High Brow and the Shades, are just some of the popular bands he has performed with since adulthood.

Jim studied basic and advanced recording courses at Cookhouse Recording Studio from MSR (Music and Sound Recorders, Inc.). He continued with recording projects and purchasing recording gear part-time for several years. Jim opened Whatís Hennepin Recording Studio in his Minneapolis Uptown home in 1987.By 1997, he designed and built a new custom home in Oak Grove on 18 wooded acres. This expanded the recording studio and added a lounge, covering 1400 square feet. (Return to Top of Page)

 

Tim Sikich

Personal Instruments: Drums, Electric and Acoustic Guitar

History: Tim received his Associates in Applied Science degree in Music Business/Audio Production from Globe University/Minnesota School of Business in 2007.

During his high school years, he played several shows in the band 5th Edition, throughout the metro area. Tim was primary songwriter in the group, recording a demo in 2002, along with vocalist Collin Ostroot. He has written over twenty songs of original material in the last three years. His influences include, Dashboard Confessional, The Starting Line, Brand New, Taking Back Sunday, New Found Glory, Fall Out Boy, Something Corporate, Yellowcard, and much more.

During college, Tim put his Music Business studies into practical application by starting Nextep Booking Agency. He has booked countless shows in the St. Cloud area at popular venues such as: The Red Carpet, Rox Bar, Java Joint, and The Press Bar & Parlor. (Return to Top of Page)
